Man United 'are willing to pay Harry Kane £300,000-a-week'
Since manager Erik ten Hag prioritizes signing a new striker in the summer, United have started to pursue a trade for England captain Harry Kane, who is presently under contract with Tottenham.
According to The Sun, the club has also proposed increasing Marcus Rashford's pay to the same amount in an effort to sign the star winger to a new, long-term contract.
At the end of the current campaign, Rashford will enter the final year of his current deal, and United is desperate to hold onto a player who came up through the club's development systems.
According to reports, David de Gea's new deal, under which he would no longer get a weekly salary and lose his position as the team's highest-paid player, will raise the additional revenue.

According to the proposed new contract for De Gea, his pay would be reduced from the present amount of £375,000 per week to a new offer of £200,000 per week.
This will increase Rashford's pay as the team looks to reward him for his greatest year yet and free up more cash for Kane should he opt to join United.
In all competitions this season, Rashford has scored 28 goals for the Red Devils, helping them win the Carabao Cup and reach the FA Cup final in Ten Hag's first season in command.
In contrast, Rashford has scored 15 goals in the Premier League compared to Kane's 24 in three competitions with Spurs.
According to reports, Kane's current Spurs contract will be enhanced by £100,000 at the 13-time English Premier League champions, while Rashford's contract would similarly be increased from £200,000 to more than quarter of a million.
On Thursday night, the two England strikers will square off at Old Trafford as Tottenham looks to undermine United's chances of qualifying for the Champions League.
That might be a practice run for Kane, who would be Tottenham's most well-known departure since Gareth Bale departed to join Real Madrid in 2013 for a then-record transfer cost.
But Spurs chairman Daniel Levy might thwart any bids for Kane from rival teams and might prefer to hang onto his greatest asset at the risk of letting him go for nothing. Erik ten Hag, the manager of Man United, prioritized bringing in a new star striker in the summer."

Levy is a notoriously tough negotiator who, just two years ago, turned down Manchester City's interest in signing Kane.
However, if Tottenham doesn't make the Champions League for the upcoming season, they may be forced to sell more players in order to raise further revenue.
Despite the record-breaking England goal scorer turning 30 in July, any deal for Kane would probably demand a sum close to £100 million.
