Young last shares her story on how a man she believed was in love with abandoned her when she needed him the most. According to the lady Identified as @Mhana_Fumo on Twitter, her boyfriend doesn't mind spending millions on her and taking her on expensive vacations, but when her rent was due and she had no money to pay for it, she requested he supported her with some money and the man rejected, that made her realized one can not rely on people they are in a romantic relationship with. “So l had financial problems while in varsity. I texted a guy I was dating who runs big projects, I wanted R3800 for rent. He said he doesn't have any. I texted a
friend, she had no money but made plans with her boyfriend. I paid rent then ghosted the tender guy who was buying Alcohol for me and his friends and also using +- R600 petrol to come see me Guy started leaving me paragraphs everyday voice note and missed calls I didn't explain anything to him I just kept quiet until he paid security to come in my student accommodation. l explained to him why I kept quiet. So he told me I don't love him it is all about material things I am just a gold digger like all other women. But when I want Alcohol and road trips I am a loving, understanding girlfriend. This taught me that people who love you will go through hell and all to make sure they help when you are in need regardless of the
relationship, whether it's intimate, family, friends, or any other close relation. People who love you will make a plan then fail and not just leave you to suffer or make a loss.
It's very scary how men we are dating are comfortable with watching and still expecting sex when you are suffering while they have the means to assist you. Some friends always show up more than that man who claims to love you but won't assist you when you are in the shit. Where man's heart is, is where his money
empathy, and effort goes to. If a father, a boyfriend, a brother or husband can't assist when they have resources to, or even try when they don't, YOU ARE NOT LOVED”.
