After a year of little play, Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch has urged the German team that "things have to change."
Only four of the 20-year-old's 28 appearances in all competitions have come as a starter since he joined Bayern from Ajax last summer.
According to 90min, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Arsenal have all expressed interest in staying updated on Gravenberch's status as a result of his frustrations, which have attracted the attention of several Premier League teams.
Gravenberch doubled back on his earlier admission that while he wants to thrive at Bayern, he would be willing to consider leaving in the future if his playing time does not grow.
Gravenberch said to VI, "Obviously, I had to get used to it here at first, a different environment. "Everything is moving much more quickly; at times, even workouts felt competitive.
"It's a premier European club; you can't miss a thing, but I feel like the 'getting used to it' part has long since passed for me.
"For a year, practicing and competing at the highest level is lovely and illuminating. Although I say playing, it's really training. I really want to play every week again, so that has to alter for the upcoming season. Just wait and see what happens because I haven't spoken to the club administration yet. But it's obvious that this position falls short of my expectations.
Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka are already an intimidating midfield partnership for Bayern, and Konrad Laimer is expected to come on a free transfer from RB Leipzig in the summer to increase the competition in front of Gravenberch.
The Dutchman will probably have no shortage of admirers if he decides to leave Bayern. While Liverpool is rumored to be considering their options after conceding defeat in their pursuit of Jude Bellingham, Erik ten Hag is willing to make a play for his former Ajax protégé.
