Real Madrid 'ready to listen to offers' for Aurélien Tchouaméni
It was only last summer that Liverpool showed an interest in signing the talented midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni. However, the France international opted to sign for Real Madrid from Monaco for $110m (£88m/100m) when the Red Devils missed the chance.
Now, however, a new report from Spain could give Liverpool a boost. According to Eduardo Inda of El Chiringuito de Jugones, through Fichajes, Real Madrid are ready to sell Tchouaméni this summer, just a year after he signed.
It is reported that the La Liga giants are open to listening to offers for Tchouaméni this summer and appear unimpressed with his performances in his first season in Spain. The 23-year-old came on as a late substitute against Liverpool in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 in March. Liverpool.com says:
Liverpool are likely to be looking for a defensive midfielder this summer, and Tchouaméni would certainly fit in with that. And Klopp has been known to be a fan of the player, following attempts to try to sign him a year ago.
However, Real Madrid will likely demand a hefty transfer fee after spending $110 million last year, and it remains to be seen whether Liverpool are willing to spend that amount on a midfielder.
Ryan Gravenberch 'happy' to sign for Manchester United
Another midfielder who has been closely linked with a move to Liverpool is Ryan Gravenberch. The Bayern Munich star only joined the Bundesliga side from Ajax last summer but has been rumored to be of interest to other clubs. Sign up for our EXCLUSIVE Liverpool.com newsletter!

According to Foot Mercato, Liverpool have joined Manchester United and Arsenal in expressing an interest in signing Gravenberch. However, it is also reported that the player will move to Manchester United to join former coach Erik ten Hag (with whom he worked at Ajax).
Gravenberch recently broke his silence on his future at Bayern, saying he looks forward to playing more games from next season. The 20-year-old made just 28 appearances in all competitions in his first season in Germany, of which only four started.
