Mason is in charge of Thursday's match between Tottenham and Manchester United.
In response to Sunday's humbling loss at Newcastle, Ryan Mason has stated he is prepared to take over as Tottenham's manager and promised a response.
After Cristian Stellini was fired on Monday following Spurs' 6-1 loss at St. James' Park, Mason became the club's third head coach during a turbulent season.
Mason served in the same capacity at the conclusion of the 2020–21 season when Jose Mourinho was fired, making this his second time in the position.

At the time, he became the Premier League's youngest-ever manager. Now 31, the former Tottenham player is up for the challenge over the next six games after honing his coaching abilities in the five years since his untimely retirement in 2018.
"I feel at ease; it's just a perk of playing football. I am prepared, and you must be as well. I am certain about it. Before this week's games against Manchester United and Liverpool, Mason remarked, "It's simply business.
We have two really important games coming up: one on Thursday and one on Sunday. Just getting ready for it is what I and the others are concentrating on.
"(My first time serving as caregiver) was just affirmation that I'm more than capable of handling this kind of circumstance. Two years ago, we handled it nicely. Even though a lot has transpired in the last two years, I feel good and prepared for this circumstance.
Mason responded, "Yeah, I'm ready, and if that situation happens it obviously means I have done a good job," when asked if he wanted the job on a full-time basis.
But, as I said, the immediate thought is the game on Thursday and the game on Sunday. That will obviously happen in four, five, or six weeks.
Before anyone in here can begin to consider that scenario, we still have a few busy weeks ahead of us.
