Carlo Ancelotti appeared in the Montilivi press room to review the match against Girona on LaLiga matchday 31: "It was a difficult night." It's always a difficult night when you lose like this. We were terrible defensively, and it was the difference in the game. We played well with the ball, especially early on. Then they hit us on the counter with two goals, and we attempted to get back into the game with individual moments rather than as a team. We were individually awful, and our defense, which had been excellent in recent games, was non-existent.
