Manchester City host the Gunners at Etihad Stadium today, the title race is on and both teams are title contenders this season. Before this match, Arsenal had drawn the last 3 matches, while Manchester City are currently on a 6-match winning streak in the Premier League. Most Arsenal fans think their team will definitely win at the Etihad.
However, Arsenal's record at the Etihad in the Premier League since 2012 shows why they are likely to lose today's game. Since 2012, Arsenal have only won once against Man City and drawn them twice. They have lost 7 games since 2012 at the Etihad Stadium and their chances of winning today's match are slim due to their current form.
Before this match, Pep Guardiola played a game of wits to praise the Arsenal squad and give them hope. Manchester City have an incredible home record against big teams in the 2022/23 season. They won at Emirates Stadium, which shows why they can get an important win tonight.
If Manchester City win, the chances of Arsenal losing the title will increase significantly. Manchester City, which are chasing the treble this season, are used to Premier League games under great pressure.

The former Leeds United player is set to end his difficult spell at Manchester with a move this summer
Kalvin Phillips is said to be ready to leave Manchester City this summer in search of regular first-team minutes, and he could sign for Premier League rivals Liverpool.
The 27-year-old has played just 405 minutes in all competitions this season since joining Manchester City for £45m in the summer of 2022 from Leeds United, and Phillips is now looking to move elsewhere.
Liverpool are also ready to offer Phillips an exit from the Etihad, after it was reported that they had ended their pursuit of Jude Bellingham, preferring instead more signings for cheaper fees.
According to the Daily Star (opens in a new tab), Phillips is also keen on a move to Anfield, in a deal that could cost at least £35m. Liverpool need midfield players ahead of next season with Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and James Milner under contract, and Phillips a great value and quality addition to Jurgen Klopp's squad. Liverpool have been linked with a host of midfielders in recent months as they crave more momentum in that position, and Bellingham appears to be a priority target.
However, with the club unlikely to qualify for next season's Champions League, Liverpool are instead focusing on cheaper players to bolster some positions.
Pep Guardiola has clearly dropped Phillips from the squad since returning from shoulder surgery following the 2022 World Cup, arguing that the former Leeds man is not fit enough to compete for a starting spot in his team.
The Spaniard even criticized Phillips' weight, which certainly didn't help the relationship between the pair. Indeed, Phillips has not started a single Premier League game all season, despite being in every game in 2023. West Ham United are also said to be interested in reviving the career of Phillips, who certainly has a leg as Declan Rice is likely to be sold this summer.
Transfermarkt values ??Kalvin Phillips at £31 million.
