Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic agree on the 'worst game ever' for Man United in revealing conversation
Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic have shared their pain as they agreed on the 'worst game ever' for Manchester United.
Vidic joined his former defensive partner Ferdinand on his podcast to discuss his legendary career at Man United, which spanned eight and a half years.
The Serb has revealed his first meeting with Sir Alex Ferguson, detailing how the iconic boss carried his luggage after landing in Manchester.
Vidic also recalled the 'longest match ever' featuring Ferdinand - calling it 'worst match ever'.

Vidic explains how Lionel Messi's fake No. 9 position will give him a headache during a conversation with Ferdinand.
"Lionel Messi doesn't play as a striker. He plays as a fake striker. He is always between defenders and midfield," he said.

"He invites you out of his area so the wingers can run into the space behind. That's what you're trying to avoid.
"And you always have the question in your head as a defender; should I leave or should I stay?"
He added:
"I think the game in Rome is the longest game ever."

Ferdinand intervened by saying:
"It's the worst game ever."

Of course, Barca beat Man United 2-0 in Rome, with Samuel Eto'o and Messi on the scoresheet.
The Red Devils are looking to win the Champions League in a row after beating Chelsea on penalties last season.

But Messi and his teammates prevented them from winning Europe's biggest club prize in 2009 when they produced a stunning display at the tournament.
