Since Mason Mount had to have minor pelvic surgery, it will be difficult for him to play for Chelsea before the season ends.

Mason Mount of Chelsea is "feeling good" following surgery for a pelvic condition that could keep him out for the rest of the season.

Six of Mount's last seven appearances, including all three of his games since Frank Lampard returned to Stamford Bridge as interim manager, have come from the bench. This has been a disappointing few months for Mount.

The 20 Premier League starts this season for the England international resulted in just three goals and two assists for Chelsea during a turbulent season for the team.

Lampard stated on Tuesday that Mount might miss four weeks of action due to a pelvic problem that necessitated minor surgery.

Mount's Chelsea contract expires in 2024, and because new terms have not yet been reached, the 24-year-old has been mentioned as a possible transfer target by Manchester United, Arsenal, and Liverpool.

With Chelsea's Premier League season coming to an end on May 28 against Newcastle United, Mount's injury setback has prompted speculation that he may have played his final match for the team.

However, the midfielder expressed hope for a quick recovery on Instagram, writing: "experienced a small treatment yesterday to address some discomfort I experienced for a while.

"Everything went smoothly, and I'm in high spirits. Time for some break, but I can't wait to resume my workouts in the upcoming weeks!

"Many thanks to the medical staff, including the doctors and nurses, for taking care of me," she wrote in response to everyone's supportive remarks.
