According to 90min, Callum Hudson-Odoi has not yet decided on his future at Chelsea and will first meet with the team's new boss.

Despite Bayer Leverkusen's best efforts, the 22-year-old spent the current season on loan with the Bundesliga team. However, the loan agreement does not include a buyout clause, so Hudson-Odoi will return to Chelsea in the summer.

Only seven Bundesliga starts have resulted from his difficult time in Germany, where he struggled to get any playing time under the new boss Xabi Alonso.

There will be 12 months left on Hudson-Odoi's contract when he rejoins Chelsea, so a choice must be made about his future. Although sources have told 90min that the Blues are willing to trade the winger, Hudson-Odoi wants to meet with the incoming manager first before making any decisions about his future.

Mauricio Pochettino, a former manager of Tottenham and PSG, has reached an agreement in principle to take over at Stamford Bridge this summer. The Argentine will have a large say in which players are retained by Chelsea after this season.

According to reports, Hudson-Odoi still has hope for his Chelsea future and is eager to see if the new manager, most likely Pochettino, shares this belief.

Hudson-Odoi will be in the final year of his current contract, therefore if Hudson-Odoi does leave Chelsea, the Blues will seek for a permanent deal rather than a loan, which would require a contract extension.

Hudson-Odoi is one of several Chelsea players on AC Milan's radar, according to 90min. The Serie A team is keenly interested in Ruben Loftus-Cheek and is also keeping an eye on Kalidou Koulibaly, Christian Pulisic, and Hakim Ziyech.

The 22-year-old, who was once valued at 30 million by Bayern Munich, has made 126 appearances for Chelsea, with his latest coming in the club's victory over Palmeiras in the Club World Cup final in February 2022.
