Real Madrid's Tchouameni tactic to sign Bellingham.
Real Madrid is still pursuing the signing of Jude Bellingham, a 19-year-old midfielder currently playing for Borussia Dortmund. The club has been working on the deal for the past 10 months, considering Bellingham to be a strategic signing for their team. However, the deal is not yet guaranteed, and Real Madrid's leaders will be traveling to Germany in the coming days with the sole purpose of convincing Bellingham to join them from June 30.
Real Madrid has been maintaining that they have done everything within their power to secure the signing of Bellingham since January, but they believe that the decision ultimately rests with the player. For this reason, they feel it is necessary to make one more move to convince Bellingham to join their team. Other clubs, such as Liverpool and Manchester City, are also interested in signing Bellingham, and the transfer fee is expected to exceed 100 million euros.
Real Madrid faces several challenges in securing the signing of Bellingham, including the fact that they are at a financial disadvantage compared to other clubs. Additionally, there is a sentimental factor involved, as Real Madrid hopes to make Bellingham a reference point in the Premier League, a league he has never played in despite being English.
Real Madrid has a history of moving quickly and at the right time to secure the signing of players, such as Aurelien Tchouameni, whom they signed last year. Tchouameni had been considering a move to the Premier League, but Real Madrid managed to convince him to join their team instead. Real Madrid hopes to repeat this success with Bellingham.
Real Madrid is in direct contact with Bellingham's entourage and with Borussia Dortmund. While both teams are currently in the decisive phase of their respective seasons, the Bellingham case is a special one, given his reputation and availability this summer.
Liverpool also intends to sign Bellingham and bring him back to English football. Real Madrid's directors have made it clear that the reported 150 million euros demanded by Borussia Dortmund is out of reach. Nonetheless, they remain confident that their groundwork has been remarkable and could ultimately pay dividends.
