Harry Kane responds to “we’ll see you in June" chants from Man Utd fans

Harry Kane, Tottenham's striker, has responded to the chanting of Manchester United fans who were trying to lure him to Old Trafford. During United's draw at Tottenham on Thursday night, the travelling supporters started a loud chorus singing "We'll see you in June, Harry Kane, we'll see you in June." Kane, who is United's primary striker target this summer, admitted that he had heard the songs, but added that he was focused on finishing the season strongly with Tottenham.

Kane's current contract with Tottenham has one year left, which has put Spurs chairman Daniel Levy in a difficult situation, as he faces the dilemma of whether to sell Kane or risk him going into the final 12 months of his deal. United are currently leading the chase for the striker and could be ready to pay up to £100m for him, as Kane wants to stay in England to break Alan Shearer's Premier League all-time scoring record. However, Tottenham is hoping to play on Kane's loyalty to the club, although the striker has made it clear that he wants to win trophies.

Tottenham came back from two goals down to draw with United with Ryan Mason taking charge for the first time this season. Mason has been installed until the end of the season while Levy searches for a permanent successor to Antonio Conte. Mason said he was proud of his players for their fight and the way they went at United, especially after the disappointing loss to Newcastle on Sunday. He emphasized the importance of sticking together as a team until the end of the season, as small details can change games and results. When the team is united and solid, they have a chance of success.

Harry Kane's situation has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks, with many suggesting that he may leave Tottenham in search of trophies. However, Kane has been with Tottenham since he was a child, and he has always been vocal about his love for the club. His decision to leave or stay will be influenced by a number of factors, including Tottenham's ability to compete for trophies, the prospect of playing with some of the world's best players, and the financial package on offer.

Regardless of what Harry Kane decides, it is clear that Tottenham faces a crucial summer in terms of its future direction. The club has not won a major trophy since 2008, and there is a sense among fans that Tottenham needs to make significant changes if it is to compete with the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool. The appointment of a new manager will be critical, as will the club's ability to retain its key players.

Overall, the situation with Harry Kane and Tottenham highlights the complexity of modern football. While money plays a significant role in transfers, it is not the only factor that determines a player's decision. Loyalty, ambition, and a desire to win trophies are all important considerations, and it is up to each individual player to weigh these factors and make the best decision for themselves and their careers. For Tottenham, the challenge is to create an environment that can compete with the top teams in England and Europe, and to give its players the best possible chance of success.
