United are firmly in a relegation battle.

Leeds manager Javi Gracia said that three points from Sunday's Premier League match against Bournemouth's relegation opponents would be sufficient.

When Leicester, another struggling team, held them to a 1-1 draw at Elland Road in midweek, Gracia's team missed the opportunity to move four points clear of the bottom three and have only earned one point in their last four games.

After squandering two points on Tuesday night, only five games are left in their quest to keep their top-flight status, despite the fact that the Spaniard has so far refrained from designating any of his previous games as "must-wins."

Gracia said: "In the situation we are in, for sure we need to put everything into this game because we missed the last chances and we have to take the next one."

Leeds travels to the south coast on Sunday, then plays title contenders Manchester City away before traveling to West Ham, Newcastle, and Tottenham at home.

At Elland Road, confidence is in short supply following recent disastrous 5-1 and 6-1 home losses to Crystal Palace and Liverpool, which were followed by a 2-1 setback at Fulham.

But after a determined performance against Leicester, Gracia is confident that his team can regain the form that saw them defeat Southampton, Wolves, and Nottingham Forest.

He stated, "I believe the confidence is derived from all the things we have accomplished previously. "The guys accomplished it, and they can do it once more.

"First of all, you have to manage or deal with it. They are experts, and in my opinion, very competent specialists. You must manage it.

While there are times when you feel better and times when you feel worse, you must always act professionally and give your best effort.

"Now is the pivotal point of the season, and now is when you have to give your best whether you're feeling good or bad. It is that straightforward.

"We have to keep going, keep working the way we are working, and I'm sure doing that, we'll be able to change the dynamic we have."
