Manchester United fans fell in love with life when they saw Erik ten Hag's actions agree with their anti-Glazer stance, with protests taking place on Sunday.

United have a big clash with Aston Villa, knowing that a win over Unai Emery's side will help them cement their place in the top four.

With the Carabao Cup already secured this season and an FA Cup final coming up, as well as the possibility of a top-four finish, fans only continue to protest against their owners when things don't go their way. .

As the Glazer family expanded the possibility of selling the club to the point that it could negatively affect plans for the next campaign, fans took to the streets of Manchester ahead of the game.

Even after the 1-0 victory pushed them deeper when fans had to go to protest, they continued to sing songs against Glazer. As Ten Hag leaves the field, after his victory, a yellow and green scarf is thrown in front of him, which he picks up, rotates it, and throws it back, as shown in the video below.

"This is probably the most meaningful image a United manager has ever seen," one fan said dramatically.

"For the first time, I see a United coach showing signs of being hostile to the owners," added the second, sharing the same view as the first.

A third joked: 'He's not here to get involved, he's here to take control,' although the former Ajax boss doesn't appear to have £6billion in reserve.

"He got it, didn't he," said another supporter. "It's an underrated move," replied the fifth.

And the sixth person posted affectionately: "I love this bald man so much! Blue and Gold until our club is sold!"

This is the first game since Friday's deadline for a third offer from Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the Old Trafford club's two most likely buys.

Ten Hag's side are looking to bounce back after taking a two-goal lead against Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday night, and Bruno Fernandes gave them the lead after 39 minutes.

Jadon Sancho would certainly have been delighted if the attacking midfielder had managed to stay quiet for a while to get the ball into the net, after telling the captain to 'don't whine' in the first half. They won 1-0, nine points ahead of fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur, with only six games left in their season.
