Manchester United beat Aston Villa 1-0 at Old Trafford to move one step closer to a Champions League spot.

United are seven points ahead of fifth-placed Liverpool and still have a game in hand.

Unai Emery's 1-0 win over Aston Villa in form was very difficult and thanks to a first-half goal from Bruno Fernandes.

A defensive effort is certainly as important as United taking all three points. It was a real team performance and it was reflected in the Man of the Match poll. Manchester United v Aston Villa - Premier League
