Mikel Arteta has established a clear path for Chelsea to follow at Arsenal, where Mauricio Pochettino is anticipated to assume the leadership.

Ask Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, what a top-tier coach can accomplish with time, a clever plan, and effective transfers. In the early stages of his management stint, the 41-year-old received scrutiny and sack calls through a number of dismal runs of form, but the patience displayed to keep him in place is unquestionably now paying off.

Since then, criticism has followed despite Arteta's delivery of an FA Cup and Community Shield, with Arsenal missing several significant goals. To some extent, though, it appears to be coming to an end as the Gunners have made great strides in their project development this year.

On Tuesday night, Arsenal will play Chelsea, a competitor from London, looking for their first victory in four games. Frank Lampard, the interim head coach, is likewise having a difficult time because he has lost his first five games in that position. After being fired by Chelsea in January 2021, Lampard is aware of the erratic nature of Premier League management. As a result, when Arteta was originally hired, Lampard delivered him a clear message.

Lampard's assessment of the Arsenal manager has been amply vindicated three and a half years later, despite the fact that he had not yet been removed of his duties at the time of Arteta's arrival.

"He's worked with one of the greatest coaches, if not the greatest, for a couple of years," Lampard told Express after his arrival.

You can't tell unless you give someone a chance, and who is to argue that a manager is better or worse because they are in their first or 50th year of management? Daily problems exist, and he undoubtedly would have noticed them at City, but he also would have observed them more closely and undoubtedly been a strong supporter of Guardiola.

"Now that he must make such decisions on his own, he is in a strong position because to the years he spent working with Guardiola at a major, successful club. He was a tremendously skilled player who also possessed intelligence and technicality.
