After the game on Sunday, in which the Reds scored a 94th-minute goal to secure a 4-3 victory, Klopp was upset at Tierney and insisted that he doesn't understand what the referee has against his club or why he looks at him in a particular manner.

PGMOL issued a statement after Klopp's outburst defending Tierney from Klopp's allegations.

According to a statement, "PGMOL is aware of the remarks made by Jurgen Klopp following his team's match with Tottenham Hotspur."

We have carefully listened to the audio of referee Paul Tierney from today's game and can confirm he conducted himself professionally throughout, including when issuing the caution to the Liverpool manager. As a result, we strongly refute any claims that Tierney's actions were improper. Match officials in the Premier League are recorded in all games via a communications system.

The FA has also stated that it will investigate Klopp's remarks, which might result in a substantial fine for the Liverpool manager.

Obviously, this is an extremely emotional film. especially in light of their third goal's circumstance. "The linesman is right there and keeps the flag down, and then the ref whistles instead, so that's one thing, and then the next situation [Richardson's goal] wouldn't have happened if we keep the ball there," said the linesman in reference to how Tierney might call a foul in that scenario up front against Mohamed Salah. That is unacceptable. We have a history and a tale with Mr. Tierney, but I'm not sure what else he may know about us. Really, I have no idea.

They will always claim that it is unimportant, but that is untrue and impossible. I fail to comprehend it. I don't know why he looks at me the way he does. I don't really have a problem with anyone, including him, but it's like, "Again? "I love Harry Kane and this guy, so I didn't want him to receive a red card in that game, but he was the referee at Tottenham when it happened. Since they are not required to provide details in such circumstances, no one subsequently questioned Mr. Tierney about it.

"It's hard to comprehend. I didn't say anything negative about the fourth official's celebration, but it wasn't required.
