The top engineering graduate from Cape Coast Technical University has received the 2023 Kasapreko Excellence Award from Kasapreko Company Limited, the largest beverage manufacturer in Ghana.
As the top engineering student, Mr. Isaac Addo of Cape Coast Technical University received Kasapreko's Excellence Award.
After being named the year's top student, Mr. Addo was awarded a monetary reward of GH$3000, a laptop, a certificate, and the opportunity to do his national service at Kasapreko Company Limited.
Mr. Solomon Owusu Bonnah, the HR Manager of Kasapreko Company Limited, remarked during the school's 2023 gathering that the award was intended to close the knowledge gap between academia and business by giving students a chance to put what they have learned into practice.
"The Excellence Award is a program that assists Ghanaian technical student graduates by recognizing their academic achievement and offering them financial aid to continue their studies or launch a career in their field of choice." The award is intended to inspire and motivate students to achieve academic success and take on leadership roles in their communities, the speaker stated.
According to the business, spending money on technical education is essential for the nation's advancement and the expansion of the manufacturing sector.
"For more than five years, we have offered these top students from different technical institutions the chance to serve with us after school so that they may put what they have learned into action. This has produced fruitful outcomes, and we're prepared to expand it to all technical universities in every state," he stated.
The school appreciated Kasapreko's humanitarian act, but Prof. Charles Emmanuel Oppon, dean of student affairs at Cape Coast Technical University, asked them to take into account rewarding female engineering students who also achieve in the course.
We would like to express our gratitude to the Kasapreko management and staff for creating this award and providing students with the chance to perform national service with them. "We hope that our partnership with Kasapreko will endure, but we kindly ask them to likewise acknowledge and honor female students who do admirably in the classroom," he said.
Mr. Addo, who was this year's top engineering student, was overjoyed to receive the Kasapreko award and is eager to succeed with the business.
"I am ecstatic to get the Kasapreko Excellence Award, and I want to thank the business for giving me the chance to work there." It will be exciting to have an effect on the business.
The Kasapreko Excellence Award is a component of the company's commitment to corporate social responsibility as they develop and provide these outstanding students with the necessary job experience.
