A BBC pundit has criticized Liverpool star Virgil Van Dijk for his performance against Tottenham Hotspur.
A comeback at Anfield saw Liverpool leading 3-0 within the first 15 minutes thanks to goals from Curtis Jones, Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah.
However, both Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min scored for the visitors in a single shot before former Everton striker Richarlison equalized three minutes into injury time - his first Premier League goal for Spurs .
Both sides seemed to take a point, but from the start, Diogo Jota took advantage of Lucas Moura's poor back pass to hit Fraser Forster and send Anfield into a frenzy.
The stunning final even saw the Reds manager, Jurgen Klopp, pick up a hamstring injury as he sprinted down the touchline after the goal. Van Dijk is criticized
Despite Liverpool's dramatic win, Van Dijk was criticized for playing a role in Tottenham's opening goal.
The Dutchman slipped when he tried to tackle Ivan Perisic during the break, allowing the 34-year-old to pass the ball to Kane, who passed the ball past Alisson Becker's legs and into the net.

And after the match, BBC sports pundit Stephen Kelly criticized Van Dijk. The 31-year-old, once described as "overrated" by TalkSport's Jason Cundy, has had his worst season in a Liverpool shirt.
Speaking on the Football Daily podcast, Kelly said:
"Besides the incredible chances, the defense sometimes if you really analyze it as a coach, some defenses are terrible. It's bad for both sides, it really is. In the second half, Liverpool looked very vulnerable.
[Virgil] Van Dijk, he's had a bad season, and maybe he can get back to the way he was.
"But, when he chased [Ivan] Perisic and Perisic got inside and he slipped, I thought Van Dijk would come in and eat him alive, push him into the corner and show up, and Perisic will go back go away and kind of back. That's the way he is. "But there's a hole for him now that wasn't there before and Liverpool have that, but they still took the lead thanks to Moura giving that chance."
