According to 90min, several Premier League teams are showing a lot of interest in AC Milan center-back Fikayo Tomori.
Tomori left Chelsea for Milan in 2021, and he has had an incredible few years in Serie A, winning the league title in 2021/22 and assisting the Rossoneri in their run to the Champions League semifinals this year.
Numerous scouts from all over England were present for Saturday's 1-1 draw with Roma and were keeping an eye on a number of players. Tammy Abraham of Roma was the main objective, but insiders have told 90min that Tomori was also a top target for many.
Despite only playing for 45 minutes before getting hurt and being replaced at halftime, Tomori's scouts still had time to update their dossiers on him.
As far as 90min is aware, Tomori was being closely watched by Arsenal, Manchester United, and Newcastle throughout the game, as well as by previous employers Chelsea, who were also keeping an eye on the development of their former academy star.
The Reds, who are well-known fans of Tomori, are not thought to have been represented at the game.
Tomori, according to sources, would be interested in returning to the Premier League because he feels that doing so will help him in his goal to play frequently for the England national team.
Despite the vociferous cries of England supporters, Tomori has only earned three caps for his country, hasn't played since June 2022, and was left off the team that competed in the 2022 World Cup barely six months after winning the Serie A.
After learning he would not be attending the World Cup, Tomori said, "There was a disappointment, but that's football; you just have to move on."
It is understood by 90min that Tomori would entertain offers to return to the Premier League this summer because he believes it would give him the best chance to play more minutes for his nation.
