According to 90min, Juventus is prepared to offer Massimiliano Allegri the position of director of football at the organization.
The 2022–23 season was turbulent for La Vecchia Signora both on and off the field. Off-field problems brought on by alleged player value manipulation and false capital gains reporting have resulted in a 15 point deduction, which has been temporarily lifted, and a probable exclusion from European championships.
On the field, things haven't exactly improved much. The team is now in third place in Serie A, although they have gone four games without a victory, including losses to Napoli at the Allianz Stadium and to Inter, their bitter rivals, in the Coppa Italia.
Numerous Bianconeri supporters have called for Allegri to be fired as the team's manager due to Juve's dismal performance and unenthusiastic style of play, which has resulted in Juve scoring just 48 league goals this season, 20 fewer than league leaders SSC Napoli.
According to sources close to the club, Allegri will be given a new position in Turin this summer, therefore 90min believes that the hopes of those Juventus supporters may come true.
In the aforementioned position, Allegri would replace Andrea Agnelli as Juve's director of football and play a significant role in the new club management team headed by Gianluca Ferrero.
Allegri would be happy with such a transfer, according to sources, knowing that he will be earning another significant post and staying at the club to assist in a much-needed team rebuild.
In the changing room, frustrations with Allegri have also been expressed. Dusan Vlahovic is reportedly one of the players who is now dissatisfied with life under Allegri and is willing to leave the team in the summer if the Italian manager is retained, according to 90min. The Serbian striker has been linked with a number of teams in recent months, including Manchester United.
