Man City are determined to continue their success after signing a contract extension with head coach Pep Guardiola. When things settle down, new transfers are expected for next season. So there could be some notable changes in the team.

Let's see how the Manchester squad can arrange for the 2023-24 Premier League season based on the players they have contacted and should sign.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has expressed his admiration for Roberto De Zerbi, who has been linked with Tottenham Hotspur's managerial job.

Tottenham are on the hunt for a long-term coach, and Brighton and Hove Albion manager De Zerbi is also in their sights.

The Daily Mail in April reported that Brighton coach De Zerbi is one of the coaches that Tottenham are considering appointing in the summer of 2023.

The report claims that Spurs have 'done the initial research on what is needed to attract De Zerbi to north London for next season'.

Brighton are currently eighth in the Premier League table with 52 points from 31 appearances. The Seagulls beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 6-0 at home in the Premier League at the weekend.

De Zerbi was appointed as Brighton manager at the start of the season after Graham Potter left Chelsea.

The 43-year-old Italian has taken Brighton to the next level and Liverpool manager Klopp has been impressed.

Klopp told BBC MOTD:

"Brighton played one of the best football games this weekend I've ever watched in my life, I have to say, Roberto De Zerbi, wow. They're behind us with two games less.

Impression

In our opinion, Roberto De Zerbi has done a very good and impressive job at Brighton and Hove Albion. And we are not surprised that Tottenham Hotspur Chairman Daniel Levy is interested in him.

However, we do not believe the 43-year-old will leave Brighton for Spurs this summer.

After all, the Italian strategist was not appointed to his current position at Seagulls until September 2022.
