Arsenal has long been known as a club that develops outstanding young players as it has seen in the past two decades, but now it is reported that they have lost a great child.
Arsenal youngster Charlie Patino will leave the club this summer in search of a regular first-team start. The 19-year-old midfielder spent a season on loan at Blackpool, where he impressed despite the club's relegation from the Championship.
Patino joined Arsenal from Luton Town at the age of 11 and is considered one of the club's most promising talents in recent years. He signed a professional contract with the Gunners in 2020 and made two appearances for the club. SWINDON, ENGLAND – SEPTEMBER 07:

However, with Arsenal currently going through a transition period under Mikel Arteta, Patino is unlikely to have the opportunity to regularly start in the near future. Therefore, he expressed a desire to leave permanently rather than return on loan.
According to a source from The Athletic, Arsenal have accepted Patino's wishes and are ready to facilitate his departure. It is known that there is interest in Patino from clubs in the UK and abroad, with several teams monitoring his progress at Blackpool. Patino's departure will be a blow to Arsenal fans who had hoped to see him become an important player for the club. However, it is important for young players like Patino to get regular game time if they are to reach their full potential.
Arsenal has a history of producing talented young players who will find success elsewhere. Names like Serge Gnabry, Alex Iwobi and Jeff Reine-Adélaïde have all left Arsenal in recent years and have gone on to establish themselves at other clubs.
It remains to be seen where Patino will end up next season, but there is no doubt that he has the talent and potential for success at the highest level. With Arsenal backing, he will now look for a new challenge elsewhere as he looks to make his mark in professional football.
