In Saturday's 4-3 victory over West Ham, the 21-year-old Olise notched his ninth assist of the year.
Roy Hodgson, the manager of Crystal Palace, expects that elite teams may make a move for the midfielder after another strong showing from the Eagles nearly guaranteed Premier League football next season.
The 21-year-old was crucial in the setup of Wilfried Zaha's seventh goal of the season, which he returned in Saturday's 4-3 victory over West Ham. With nine assists this season, he is the fourth-best provider in the league.
Due to the fact that Hodgson's temporary contract with Palace runs out at the end of the current campaign, the former England manager is not required to worry about contract issues, including the potentially unsettling possibility of someone luring Olise away from Selhurst Park.
'I'm Steve Parish,' "I would be concerned," the Eagles' head coach remarked. But for the upcoming few weeks, I will be Roy Hodgson, and I wish them all the best. I don't discuss contracts or what the club wants to do with anyone.
"I know they'll ask for my opinion if they ever need it, but I won't be giving it," I said.
Since Trent Alexander-Arnold did the same in 2018–19, Olise is the youngest player to have nine or more Premier League assists. He did this by assisting Jordan Ayew for Palace's first-half equalizer.
When he signed for Palace on a five-year agreement in 2021, he became the first player for Hodgson's replacement turned ousted predecessor Patrick Vieira. Olise has scored twice for the Eagles this season, a total that his current manager has encouraged him to increase.
"I think he needs to score more goals," Hodgson remarked. He has aspirations. He occasionally cut inside with his left foot and delivered effective blows.
"But we are more than delighted with him as long as he continues to produce those goals for us in the manner that he does. He is another player whose performance in carrying out our requests is improving.
Arsenal is rumored to be interested in signing Olise this summer, but Hodgson said on Friday that both Olise and 24-year-old Eberechi Eze have the potential to become as legendary as Zaha.
"I do think that those two players, if they continue to progress as they have, if they continue to milk their skills and ability as they have so far, why can't they go on to have the kind of career that Wilf has had?" he added.
