Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, one of the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) flag bearer candidates, has argued that he has the political background necessary to help the party win the 2024 presidential election. He has asked the delegates to support him.
He claimed that all the NPP needed to "break the 8" was an experienced and responsible leader, and he was such a person for the 2024 election.
health stroll
This was addressed by Mr. Kyerematen last Saturday in Accra at a health walk called "Aduro Wo So (it's your turn)".
Numerous party supporters and members who were wearing NPP T-shirts and other gear attended.
Singing and dancing were prominent features of the health walk, while some party members carried signs with messages such as "Father for everyone.
Jobs for the people, "Cash for the People," "Industrial Titan," "Mr. Job for the Youth," and "The True Unifier" are among the phrases that describe Ghana's hope.
The health walk began at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle's Obra Spot and traveled to James Town's Mantse Agbona.
The "Santacluasians for Alan" group of former Adisadel College (the school Mr. Kyerematen attended) students supported Mr. Kyerematen's nomination during the walk.
Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Tema West, claimed Mr. Kyerematen had been a longtime NPP member and that, much as President Nana Addo Dankwa
The party backed Akufo-Addo when they thought it was his turn, and they must do the same for Mr. Kyerematen because "it is his turn to lead the party." He claimed that Mr. Kyerematen had significantly aided the expansion of the party and previous governments and that his abilities had been demonstrated over time through his industrialization-related projects.
"There is no question about Alan's competence."
Even during the administration of President Kufuor, when he was a key player in the President's Special Initiatives, he accomplished a great deal.
Alfred Mensah-Onumah, a former Adisadel College student from the 1997 year group and coordinator of the "Santacluasians for Alan" organization, hailed Mr. Kyerematen as an industrial genius who, if given the go-ahead, would spark a national industrial revolution.
"Alan has the expertise and is a leader when it comes to industrialization, particularly when it comes to giving our raw materials more value."
He had a significant impact on the AfCFTA, even contributing to Ghana's selection as the organization's hub.
As a minister, Alan effectively oversaw the government's 1D1F plan.
We urge all delegates to choose him as the flagbearer because we think the moment is right.
"They can be confident that they will win the general election after that is completed," he added.
