Bellingham reach deal with next club after rejecting Man City and Liverpool
Jude Bellingham has agreed an initial deal to join Real Madrid this summer, according to reports in Spain.
The England international established himself as one of Europe's best central midfielders during his time with Borussia Dortmund and has attracted interest from a number of clubs ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 19-year-old is wanted by Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United but according to Marca, Real Madrid have completed a deal for the midfielder, which should see him sign a contract until 2029.
The report claims that Liverpool and City were both aware of Bellingham's decision to join Madrid, which is why they withdrew from the league.
Madrid are yet to agree a deal with Dortmund but are expected to pay around €120m (£105m) for Bellingham. Manchester United came close to signing Bellingham in the summer of 2020, the midfielder even spoke to Sir Alex Ferguson and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer during a visit to the club's training ground.
But Dortmund later agreed a €25m (£23m) deal with Birmingham City.
In three seasons at Dortmund, Bellingham scored 21 goals and provided 25 assists in 130 appearances.
In his first season in Germany, Bellingham helped Dortmund win the DFB-Pokal, while he could end his time at the club by helping them win the Bundesliga this season.

Erik ten Hag has had nine signings as Manchester United manager, but how do they rank?
Erik ten Hag made nine signings in his first season as Manchester United manager, with some performing better than others. Express Sport ranks the Dutchman's business ahead of what is expected to be another busy transfer window at Old Trafford this summer.
Lisandro Martinez - A+
Ten Hag has been mocked for spending £57m to bring in Lisandro Martinez from Ajax, especially after struggling in his first two games in England.
But he has been one of the best centre-backs in the Premier League this season and with confidence in his possession and passing range, he has benefited United both in attack and defense. reign. Casemiro-A
Casemiro also doesn't come cheap at £70m, but it's not surprising that Real Madrid's hero has come to the Under-16s and revolutionized United's midfield. He is arguably the best defensive midfielder in world football.
However, the 31-year-old missed nine games due to a suspension in his first season, with his ruthless tackles sometimes shifting as he adapted to the pace of the game. against Spain.
Christian Eriksen - B+
Christian Eriksen is one of the biggest hits of the summer on a free transfer. The Dane provided the technical quality Ten Hag was looking for in midfield and combined effectively with Bruno Fernandes. His rating would have been higher had he not been out for a few months through injury in 2023 following Andy Carroll's horrific FA Cup tackle in January.

Antoine-B
Antony enjoyed a controversial first season at United after joining Ten Hag from Ajax in a deal worth £85m. His decision-making, the quality of his shots and the timing of his tricks have been criticized. However, the 23-year-old has shown plenty of glimpses of the player he could become and he has provided much-needed balance on the right flank. United are worse off without him.
Marcel Sabitzer -B-

Tyrell Malacia - OLD
Tyrell Malacia had a number of memorable performances in his first campaign at Old Trafford, including a 2-1 derby win over Manchester City. But sometimes he proves to be unconvincing, and you always wonder if he has the quality to push Luke Shaw into the starting XI for the long term.

Wout Weghorst - D+
It remains to be seen how Wout Weghorst starts his first 19 games after joining United in January. He's had a great time and enjoys connecting with fans, but his comeback hasn't been good enough. Two goals in 25 appearances is probably the return you'd expect from a Burnley striker playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world. But the towering Dutchman is unlikely to stay after the summer.
Martin Dubravka - Mi+
It is difficult to rank which goalkeepers are signed based on the cover of David de Gea. United signed Martin Dubravka after Dean Henderson joined Nottingham Forest on loan.
He made two Carabao Cup appearances, contributing to United's first title in six years, before returning to Newcastle United in January. Jack Butland - E
