Real Madrid is the most successful club in European football with 14 UEFA Champions League titles. Their ability to shine and win more titles depends on the world-class players they have acquired over the years.

Have you ever thought how unstoppable they would be if they hadn't let down some of their most successful players. Just imagine Theo Hernandez and Achraf Hakimi playing at left-back and right-back in their current form.

Cristiano Ronaldo is their all-time top scorer with 450 goals alongside Karim Benzema at centre-back. Benzema has played steadily since joining Real Madrid in 2009. He scored 29 goals in the 2022/2023 season.

Vinicius Junior and Federico Valverde will hold the positions of wingers. Vinicius has 22 goals and 20 assists while Valverde has 12 goals and 7 assists in the 2022/2023 season.

Casemiro, who has just joined Manchester United, and Luca Modric can play in central midfield while Eder Militao and Rafael Verane can play at centre-back. This is how composition can be.

Real Madrid are reportedly close to signing Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund - and they appear to have repeated their previous tactic to beat Liverpool as part of the deal.

Fabrizio Romano announced on Wednesday afternoon that Bellingham is now close to joining the Spanish giants, with negotiations approaching their final stages.

Personal terms are said to be 'almost agreed' with Real expected to meet Dortmund again to close the deal.

If completed, the deal would end months of speculation about Bellingham's long-term future, with Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and PSG, among others, all believed to be important. interested in signing the star midfielder.

The 19-year-old signed for Dortmund in the summer of 2020 from Championship side Birmingham and quickly became a key part of their squad. With World Cup experience and more than 125 appearances for his club, Bellingham could be the signing that takes Real to the next level.

And according to reports, they have turned to a tactic previously used to sign Martin Odegaard to convince the England star to make the Bernabeu his next destination.

Truly "repeating Martin Odegaard's tactics"

Romano claims Real's chief scout Juni Calafat is 'very important' in negotiating personal terms with Bellingham.

Calafat has a long track record of attracting elite players to the Bernabeu. He has arranged the signings of Brazilian stars Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo, as well as convinced Federico Valverde to join Real from Uruguayan side Penarol for a fee of just 5 million euros. That is according to ESPN, who also claim the Spaniard did the same with young midfielder Odegaard.

The Norwegian signed for the Spanish giants in 2015, aged 16, from Norwegian side Stromsgodset. He was considered one of the best players in football at the time, and the sum of 3 million euros seemed like an unbelievable value.

But in his six years at Real, Odegaard failed to live up to those expectations, and had to move to Arsenal and work under Mikel Arteta to unleash the elite ability he has always shown in the Premier League.

He made just 11 appearances for Los Blancos, despite impressive loan spells at Vitesse, Real Sociedad and most recently Arsenal. However, they still profited well from the midfielder, with his move to the Emirates costing the Gunners a €35m upfront fee plus additional terms.
