After keeping a rare clean sheet in Wednesday's 1-0 victory over Fulham, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp made fun of the fact that goalkeeper Alisson was on the edge of tears.

The Reds weren't at their best throughout the game, and when Mohamed Salah gave them the lead from the penalty spot, Liverpool frequently needed Alisson to save them, which is nothing new for this season.

Alisson not only earned Liverpool three points but also his first clean sheet in six games, which pleased Klopp.

After the game, Klopp told Premier League Productions that Alisson "was on the verge of crying with a clean sheet." We don't do that very often this season! It's wonderful, particularly for him.

The boss added, "Very pleased. super-powerful adversary. I'm unable to respect Marco Silva's actions there any more. Although I felt we had the majority of the game under control in the first half, things started to open up. a fantastic crew. The entire time, it was challenging. Five wins in a row is impressive. I really enjoyed it.

They may have scored because they had a good chance. In the first half, there were times when we should have scored. It is as it is. You must produce. I witnessed a fierce struggle, tremendous spirit, and lads who joined in charging headfirst into problems. Of sure, we have better control over the game at these times, but we can still do better. In the past, we have performed significantly worse.

With their fifth straight victory, Liverpool maintains their fifth-place standing in the Premier League standings and begins an exciting push for a potential top-four finish.

Klopp continued, "Super vital [to create momentum]. "I said that, you know. We must attempt to take action that we can employ. something on which the following season can be built. We did just that, and I'm happy about it.

On Saturday, Brentford will come to Anfield to play against Liverpool, who will be hoping to keep the pressure on fourth-place Manchester United.
