1. Mamprusis have attacked and killed innocent people at the same spot. Two men were shot adjacent the police station by Mamprusis bandits few minutes after the killing their people celebrated it .
2.Mamprusis attacked the timber around the same spot killing my Ewe friend, an innocent man and burning properties around the same spot. Killed a Frafra teacher in the same community using a pickup.
3.Mamprusis were quick to issue a press statement when the police were still not having full information on the matter. How did Mamprusis know the killers.
4. I listened One Naa Tampuri issuing threats of what will happen on the 3rd April, if the court doesn't rescind the arrest warrant. This person is still on Facebook inciting people and have not been arrested.
5. We saw messages on Facebook from the Mamprusis threatening kusasis of an attack on the highway stretch. I was concerned because my wife sells around the GED area. The security pay death ears to this threats
6. It is also on record that these immigration officers were living with kusasis.I am reliably informed that all the immigration check points are in the kusasi enclave so it will be unreasonable for kusasis to target such people right in front of a police station.
7. The radio stations Gummah FM and Bawku FM have been discussing and inciting the Mamprusis to mass up if the court fails to pass judgement in their favour. These radio are acting with impunity.
Now my remarks: The Defence minister is either clueless or have an ill motive. Why 1000 military men? instead of arresting the culprit who was purported to be enskinned by the Nalerigu chief? Why bring in more soldiers when the main issue at hand is left unattended to. This behavior of government is what fuels the bandits. They believe the can disrespect our courts with impunity and nothing will be done to them.
Now to the Kusaug Traditional Council, you have authority over your land, it is time to ignore the hypocritical stand of this government and take up your land as your brothers the Gonjas did. The Traditional Council has so much powers but it's not been put to use. There is too much diplomacy which is causing more havoc than the guns.
It is time to speak truth to the government. It is time to be hard on the politician. The worst they can do is to withdraw the military from Bawku and that would bring finality to the conflict.
I am not a party to the conflict but I have observed the disrespect the MCE has for the overlord, he issues directives to the military against kusasis and still has the morale to visit his palace. The MCE decides which roads should be used. This is stupidity that can never happen in my hometown. My chief can order the sacking of any government official if he disrespects his him.
Another person kusasis must watch is the Minister of Defence. Do you remember this enskinment in Nalerigu happened immediately new set soldiers came to Bawku? You can guess what they are planning to do with 1000 soldiers deployed. Maybe to make it safe for the wanted man to come home. Believe me if kusasis do not fight this without fear , the man will be brought in and given protection, the same people who provided security for the enskinment. Beware of Dominic Nitiwul.
Let me conclude by saying the day the Kusaug Traditional Council will decide to take up the matter and ignore the hypocritical government, that would be the end of the matter. Peace and freedom is attained by fighting for your right. Justice must be served
