We are in the final round of the English Premier League. However, it is not yet known which team will win the title. Over the course of the season, a number of players have proven indispensable to their teams and based on the standings, they have made it into the Premier League Team of the Season so far.
It's no surprise that the top four teams of the Premier League currently dominate the season's lineup based on ratings. Manchester City alone has three players in the squad. Manchester United, who are currently fourth, have two of their players in the squad. It is the same story for Newcastle United. However, despite Arsenal's dominance in the league this season, they only have one player in the squad based on overall ratings.
Cityzens has Jack Grealish in the squad with an overall stat of 7.3. The current top assist player of the English Premier League this season, Kevin De Bruyne is also in the squad with a performance index of 7.7 Premier League top scorer, Erling Haaland is one of the team's two forwards with an overall performance index of 7.6.
Manchester United have left-back Luke Shaw and Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes in their squad. The two stars have overall scores of 6.9 and 7.4, respectively. Here are the full details of the Premier League XI of the season so far, based on overall ratings:

According to Fichajes, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has identified Newcastle United star Bruno Guimaraes as a key player in rebuilding his midfield.
The Red Devils have an aging midfield and are in dire need of an overhaul. The upcoming summer transfer window offers Klopp the perfect opportunity to strengthen his squad.
In recent years, Liverpool have appointed a number of players to adapt to their system and this summer the same thing happened. The man in their sights is Guimaraes, a key link in the rise of Newcastle United. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of Newcastle United star Bruno Guimaraes.
Liverpool's new central defender?
The 25-year-old is at the peak of his career and has completely changed Eddie Howe's team. Klopp was convinced when he brought him to Anfield and there is little controversy that the Brazilian will energize this Reds squad.
Liverpool could test Newcastle's resolve for €100m, but even if the Reds cough up money, it's still far from certain they'll sell. With support from the Middle East, the Magpies would be a formidable force, and the Guimaraes were largely a key cog in that plan.
An excellent dribbler and tackler, the Brazilian is a ball of energy in the midfield. He will settle well at Anfield and will thrive in the club's high-profile football environment.
He also makes an average shot and will contribute to goals from midfield. Guimaraes has what it takes to become a solid spearhead under Jurgen Klopp and it's clear why the German manager admires him and wants him to be the center of the team's midfield. Considering Fabinho's decline in recent months and the lack of another number 6 at his disposal, it's understandable that Klopp will be after the 25-year-old Brazil international. Hopefully we qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season to cement our signing record as the Warblers look set to finish in 4th place.
Guimaraes is a world-class player and will get better and better. The question that must be asked is why the Red Devils were unable to sign him last summer when he was still at Lyon. Liverpool were well aware of the Brazilian's talent and should have switched to him after missing out on Aurelien Tchouameni. If anything, we can only blame ourselves.
