Jurgen Klopp's side won 1-0 over Fulham on Wednesday thanks to Mohamed Salah's first-half penalty.
The result means Liverpool are now just four points behind United, fourth in the Premier League, in the battle for Champions League spots.
Fifth-placed Liverpool have played two more games than United and have only four top-flight games left.
When asked about the pressure on the current top four teams, Liverpool captain Henderson said:
'I doubt. “I think if you look at the guys who went before us, they were very good and went quite far.
“I think we only think about ourselves and how well we perform. Hopefully we can be much more settled when we come back after the summer.
More generally on the win over Fulham, Henderson added:
“It is difficult to win Premier League games.
'Five spins is very good. We have shown more consistency. We have to continue this until the end of the season and continue until the next season. Keeping a clean sheet is what we were looking for.
Klopp, meanwhile, told Premier League Productions:
'Very happy. Super strong opponent. It was tough until the end. Five games in a row is good. I fell in love.
“They had a big chance, so they could have scored. We had moments where we should have scored in the first half.
'That's it. You must create. I saw great games, a very good spirit and the boys took up the challenge.
“Of course we can control the game better in those moments, but we can improve. We played a lot worse in the past.
“Alisson almost cried for keeping a clean sheet. It's pretty rare for us this season! It's very good, especially for him.
