Cristiano Ronaldo 'brutally turned down' by English club as Al-Nassr move exit considered

Cristiano Ronaldo is rumored to be considering a move away from Saudi club Al-Nassr, and National League side Bromley has delivered him a harsh warning amid speculation about his future at the club.

Non-league club Bromley rejected on the opportunity to recruit Cristiano Ronaldo due to uncertainty over his future at Al-Nassr.

After a dramatic exit from Manchester United, the Portuguese forward arrived in Saudi Arabia in December. But it appears that he is ready to say goodbye.

According to Spanish media, Ronaldo is desperate to leave Al-Nassr and wants to rejoin old team Real Madrid. That appears to be easier said than done, with Los Blancos president Florentino Perez unwilling to facilitate an emotional reunion with the striker at the Santiago Bernabeu in the near future.

He is instead only willing to offer him an ambassadorial post with the reigning European champions at the end of his career, which Ronaldo is not interested in at the moment. Bromley have now had their own fun at the expense of the forward.

Vanarama, the non-league game's sponsors, responded to news of Ronaldo's desire to leave Al-Nassr by tweeting a mock-up image of him donning a Bromley shirt with the caption: "It's not too late if you want to play in white next season, @Cristiano," alongside a pair of eyes emoji.

Bromley simply said, "Nah, you're fine," as they turned down the opportunity to bring the five-time Ballon d'Or winner to Hayes Lane.

Sheikh Jassim and Ratcliffe will now have to wait in suspense until the Glazers make their final decision. Although the current Manchester United owners invited takeover bids when they announced they were looking into "strategic alternatives" in November, there has been much speculation that they may decide to keep their controlling stake while selling a minority stake to a hedge fund.
