Real Madrid legend, Jose María Gutierrez Hernandez, popularly known as Guti, has urged Paris Saint-Germain forward Lionel Messi not to make a return to Barcelona this summer.

Lionel Messi has been urged not to return to Barcelona this summer by Real Madrid legend Jose Mara Gutierrez Hernandez, better known as Guti.

The Argentine is serving a suspension of two weeks because he was allowed to travel to Saudi Arabia.

Addressing a Spanish media house, Guti said (by means of Barca General): " I wouldn't go back to Barcelona if I were Messi.

"He previously accomplished everything there. Right now, it's too much of a challenge. Presently, regardless of him, Barça won't win the Bosses Association."

It is believed that Messi's relationship with the French club has soured.

Tebas has now stated that Barcelona must also sell players for a fair price in order for Messi to rejoin the club.

"Assuming that Barça signs Leo Messi, his compensation will be not as much as what it is at Paris Holy person Germain.

"His return is presently contingent on selling players. I feel that Barça will get a decent sum from selling players this late spring," Tebas said.

Kempes may favor Messi staying at PSG, but the French club's fans may have a different opinion, as they have frequently booed the 35-year-old global superstar during recent home games. Kempes said, justifying those actions:

"What happens is that he is playing in France: a nation that faced Argentina in the final, where Messi was the star player and Argentina prevailed. It hurts them to see the world's best player on their team, especially when he doesn't perform as well as he did in Qatar.

Lionel Messi admitted that "everything changed" for him after Argentina won the World Cup at the tail-end of last year, as speculation over his Paris Saint-Germain future heightens amid a two-week suspension.
