Gabby Agbonlahor has been criticized by fans after calling Chelsea star Mason Mount 'a nice player'.
Mount first caught the attention of Chelsea fans when he played under Frank Lampard while on loan at Championship side Derby County.
A year later, Mount was named in the Chelsea first team after Lampard took charge of Stamford Bridge.
Since then, he has made 195 appearances in all competitions for the Blues, scoring 33 goals.

However, former Aston Villa striker Agbonlahor believes he is nothing more than a good player for the club. He said on talkSPORT:
"He's scored 27 goals in 129 appearances, come on, he's not great, is he?
"Let's be honest here, the stats show he's a good player. So you think 27 goals is enough for an England international, Odegaard has scored 14 goals in a season.

Fans were quick to react on social media as most people disagreed with Agbonlahor's words.
One person said:
"Scoring is not the only thing Mount should be judged on. He is not a striker, unlike Agbonlahor, who hardly has a higher goal-per-game ratio than Mount.

Another person tweeted:
"To be fair, I think Mount's stats are pretty good for a midfielder."

A third fan added:
"Better than 86 in 406 isn't it?" Especially when one is a midfielder and the other is a striker.
Another person wrote:
"Mount's scoring record in midfield is better than Gabby's as a forward."
While a fifth commented:
"How can a man who has scored 65 goals in 350 AS A Forward games say such a thing?! Ridiculous.
This season, Mount has struggled to find a regular place in Chelsea's starting XI, leading to rumors that he could leave the club this summer.

According to multiple sources, Liverpool and Arsenal are monitoring Mount's situation as the 24-year-old's contract with Chelsea expires at the end of the 23/24 season.
So far, no agreement has been reached between the player and the club, which could encourage Chelsea to cash in when the transfer window opens.
