A lady who revealed the heartbreaking moment she found out her partner was cheating on her on TikTok has gone viral.
One evening, Mikayla Miedzianowski was browsing Facebook when she unexpectedly came upon a post with a picture of her lover kissing another woman.
The 23-year-old clicked the picture and was sent to a group called "Are We Dating the Same Guy?" where the lady who uploaded the picture mentioned that her new partner had several "red flags."
The veterinary nurse messaged the "other woman" in question while feeling queasy in her stomach before summoning the guts to confront her cunning boyfriend.
She describes her experience in a TikTok video that has received 9.7 million views and 1.3 million likes.
Mikayla, a woman from Florida in the US, told NeedToKnow, "The photo she posted was taken the night he met her and cheated on me."
"She never contacted me, but someone anonymously gave me the full tale in the comments.
But I made every effort to remain cool.
When I handed him the texts with shaking hands after he got out of the shower, he quickly admitted to cheating on me.
Not only the two instances I am aware of, but more often than he ever realized.
Asserting that he "couldn't imagine life" without her, Mikayla claimed that her ex pleaded for forgiveness.
She states that when she made the decision to leave right away, her ex's professed "love" was reciprocated.
He stopped pleading with me to stay and adopted a chilly demeanor, the woman claimed.
"All of a sudden, he began saying that he doesn't love me and won't stand up for me.
"I begged [the poster] to kindly remove her remarks from the page so that nobody would have bad thoughts about someone I loved so dearly.
"My initial instinct was to attempt to protect him in what was my worst hour.
"It is really difficult to process when you have so many things connected to someone, especially family and travel plans."
Users of TikTok had lots to say about what transpired in the meantime.
Mikayla captioned the video, "Just silently swigging out of a bottle of wine on my boyfriend's couch while he does the dishes because I just found out on social media in front of 35,000 people that he cheated on me and I'm going to have to confront him any second,"
Ana said, "The way I'd be *accidentally* spilling that all over the couch and floor."
Please tell me you left him because you deserve the whole world, said Faith.

"Never confront, leave, block, and never speak to them again, that'll hurt so much more and have them in a mind battle," one user said.
Another individual chimed in, "Let him finish your dishes first, babe."
"Once I realized that what had happened was completely out of my control, I tried to cope with humor, which is where the TikTok videos come into play," Mikayla continued.
"I truly uploaded them as a joke with the intention that only my close friends and family would see them.
I discovered that people truly care about what happens to me after becoming viral.
"People care, and they can relate. Heavily.
Everything occurs for a reason, and I consider myself fortunate to have seen his true colours so soon.
"I wish to keep encouraging individuals to share their tales since doing so has been so helpful to me in letting go of a relationship that turned out to be bad.
Although I still have a lot of work to do, I hope to encourage others to join me in my rehabilitation.
