Rodrygo double fires Real to Copa triumph over Osasuna
Real Madrid clinched the Copa del Rey title with a 2-1 victory over Osasuna in Seville on Saturday, thanks to a clinical double by Rodrygo Goes, with Vinicius Junior playing a part in both goals.
Carlo Ancelotti's side earned their 20th Spanish Cup at La Cartuja, ending a nine-year wait to lift the trophy again. Osasuna fought well but ultimately fell short against the reigning Spanish and European champions, who face Manchester City on Tuesday in the Champions League semifinals.
Rodrygo's first goal came just two minutes into the game after Vinicius' run down the left, but Lucas Torro leveled for Osasuna in the 58th minute. However, Rodrygo secured the victory, firing home after a rebound fell his way following another Vinicius charge.
