•Ousmane Dembele linked with shock Bundesliga return this summer

After a very difficult first few years at Barcelona, Ousmane Dembele has begun to deliver on his potential this season. He has been in sensational form for the La Liga leaders, albeit he has been injured for much of the second half of the campaign.

Dembele’s future has been the cause of much speculation in recent weeks, given that his contract expires at the end of next season. So far, a renewal has not been agreed, and given that his release clause drops to €50m on the 1st of July, Barcelona will be in a hurry to secure his future.

If they cannot do so by this date, there is a risk that Dembele will leave. According to MD, Bayern Munich are interested in signing the former Borussia Dortmund winger, as they look to secure a replacement for Sadio Mane, who is expected to leave this summer.

Barcelona would be devastated to lose Dembele this summer, given that he has taken so long to begin showing his potential at the club. His renewal will be a top priority for the next few weeks, as they look to tie down his future

•Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang open to Barcelona return

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has dropped a major hint over his willingness to return to Barcelona this summer.

The Gabonese international is surplus to requirements at Chelsea, since the arrivals of Ukrainian star Mykhailo Mudryk, and Atletico Madrid loanee Joao Felix.

Aubameyang has only managed one Premier League goal so far this season, after joining the Blues at the start of the 2022/23 campaign, and the Premier League giants are open to selling him.

La Blaugrana are considering a shock move for the veteran striker, as their financial situation has shown signs of improvement, with Chelsea open to a free transfer.

Previous reports have hinted at the Barcelona dressing room being 80% in favour of bringing Aubameyang back to Catalonia despite leaving the club less than 12 months ago.

As per the latest update from Mundo Deportivo, Aubameyang is still hoping for a Barcelona reunion, if a deal can be brokered in the coming weeks.

“And I would like to return to Barça, but we’ll see what happens”, he said.

Barcelona have not confirmed their plans over resigning Aubameyang, as the club explore their sum mer transfer options.
