Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson scored his 100th clean sheet for the club as they beat Brentford on Saturday, with the Reds likely to qualify for the European Cup

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool raised their slim Champions League hopes on Saturday with a 1-0 win over Brentford, and the Red Devils will be keen to pick up as many points as possible in the remaining weeks.

Mohamed Salah scored the only goal of the game on Saturday, and it was also a memorable day for goalkeeper Alisson. The Brazil international kept his 100th clean sheet at Liverpool and had the chance to score another in the final weeks of the season.

While it was a nice weekend for Liverpool's main keeper, his replacement is likely to be on the field. Mirror Football reviewed both stories as part of the latest Anfield news. Klopp celebrates Alisson's achievements

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has praised Alisson after keeping his 100th clean sheet for the Red Devils. The goalkeeper received the shirt number 100 to mark his achievements, causing a joke between the player and the coach.

"I said it's really for '100 saves this season'. Ali said, 'it could be more.' Maybe he's right!" said the manager. “His performance says it all. If you know him, he's a better man than a goalkeeper and that's hard enough. Ali should be really proud of that.

Kelleher Links to Bees Switch

Caoimhin Kelleher could move to Brentford this summer if the Bees lose current number one choice David Raya, according to The Sun. Spaniard Raya is one of the players linked with a move from Manchester United should David de Gea leave Old Trafford.

Kelleher made his Liverpool debut in 2019 at the age of 20. However, now the 24-year-old is said to want to start regularly in the first team after a total of 20 appearances for the Anfield team.

The Red Devils are said to want £10-12m for the Ireland international. Raya, meanwhile, is valued at about three times that amount by Brentford.

The obvious reaction of the Liverpool coach

Jurgen Klopp is waiting to see if he will face any penalties after receiving a penalty from the FA following Liverpool's 4-3 win over Tottenham. On Saturday, however, his reaction to some of referee Anthony Taylor's controversial decisions told his own story. Several decisions have been made against the Red Devils, with Taylor - who sent off Klopp in a fiery clash with Manchester City in October - as the mediator. This time, however, Klopp quietly stood up and shook his head instead of expressing his frustration more clearly.

"I have to say I'm really happy with this tough 1-0 win," Klopp said after his side beat Brentford. "The goal was excellent, the defense was excellent and in some cases the football we played was really, really good."
