Liverpool is starting a fascinating rebuilding project that is mostly focused on the team's midfield. Since Jürgen Klopp's first summer transfer window in charge of the club, there may not have been a transfer window as interesting as the forthcoming one.
When Klopp wanted to bolster his midfield, one of the biggest summer transfer sagas involved the pursuit of Piotr Zieliski, who was 21 years old at the time. Even though he was wearing a Liverpool jersey while playing for Empoli at the time, the Polish international admitted in an interview that there had been talks about a potential transfer.
In response to a question from 2016 concerning Klopp's interest in him, Zieliski replied, "There is a lot of truth in that." "I don't the most important now."
The rest, of course, is history: Zieliski moved to Napoli and was instrumental in bringing the team back to its former glory, winning the scudetto this season for the first time in 33 years.
He has helped the team score 17 goals so far this season from midfield, and he even grabbed attention against Liverpool with a devastating display, scoring two and dishing out one assist as Napoli destroyed Klopp's team 4-1 at home in the Champions League.
In his peak years and after 325 games for the club, Zieliski appears to be open to a fresh challenge outside of Naples, and the team appears to be open to selling him as well.
The polish midfielder has been very instrumental in Napoli’s title race this season and in their champions league , the midfielder would be a very good addition to the midfield of Liverpool since they are mostly old players a little bit of young blood in the midfield would significantly improve thier team which could even improve Liverpools shot at the premier league next season
