he’s leaving and sends personal message to Jurgen
Arthur Melo, a midfielder for Liverpool, has declared he will leave the team this summer when his loan at Anfield expires in order to take on a new challenge.
The Brazilian was on loan from Juventus when he joined the Reds last summer, but he has played very little for the team because of ongoing injury problems.
In an interview with Goal, Arthur made it plain that he now wants the chance to play a bigger role at the end of the season as a way to say farewell to Liverpool.
The former Barcelona player also paid appreciation to Jurgen Klopp, the manager of Liverpool, and praised the way he treated him throughout what must have been a trying season.
"Next season, I'll have better vision. My career will be decided by it, and I am doing extremely well. I'm eager to present this updated version of Arthur," he remarked.
"I hope I have the chance to play something at Liverpool to say farewell to my teammates, the technical staff, and the supporters, who have been incredibly supportive of me.
He continued, "[Jurgen] Klopp has treated me incredibly well since I arrived. I consider it an honor to work with Jurgen. He is one of the top trainers in the world, he has always had nothing but positive things to say about me, he is an amazing person, and he has always been treated really well.Being able to train with someone as talented as him always benefits you as a player, and I'm sure it will be helpful in the future because you learn a lot from him.
"Now that I've recovered, I obviously want to be able to play more, but I can understand that the situation now is different from what happened when I arrived because the team had some needs at that time, and now it has others. However, I have the peace of mind that when I talk to them and they tell me that no one has any complaints with me, quite the opposite, I have.Additionally, Liverpool as a whole has treated me well, and I have nothing but praise and a very unique respect for them.
Alexis Mac Allister is one of the players most frequently mentioned in connection with a potential move to Anfield, and Liverpool will undoubtedly need to strengthen in the midfield this summer.
