A truck crashed into Obinim's family home, injuring three
Three relatives of the famouscharismatic preacher, Mrs.Daniel Obinim were injured on Sunday, May 7, 2023; when a dump truck crashed into their family home at Heman in Kwabre East Township of the Ashanti region.
The vehicle with registration number GR-7137-23 rammed into the house after it was being towed from the tow truck andwas scattered inside the house. The incident happened early in the morning and affected two rooms in the compound where the injured were sleeping.
A Kumasi-based OTEC FM reporter who visited the house spoke to an acquaintance,Akosua Konadu, who disclosed that the injured included his 63-year-old mother, Ama Konadu, her 11-year-old daughter, Joycelin Mensah, and a 26-year-old man a man named Daniel Owusu. He added that Daniel Owusu was trapped under atruck with a flat tire on his leg, OTEC FM reports, adding that the other two people were taken to Jamasi Hospital, to be treated there.
“The driver of the garbage truck told us that he was going from Wa to Kumasi to repair the truck because it had beenbroken down. "When they arrived in Heman, the truck fell off the trailer, the driver, tryingto save the day, ran into our house, seriously injuring thethree people.
"We filed a complaint with the district police and they have taken over the case," he said.
