NDC Primaries: There's Nothing Wrong, Nobody's Cheating - Asiedu Nketiah

National Democratic Congress (NDC) Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia said the party's scheduled parliamentary and presidential elections would go ahead as planned.

According to him, nothing will stop the elections and asked anyone with grievances to consult the party leadership for rectification. Dr Kwabena Duffuor's campaign team, seeking a flag bearer for the main opposition party, theNational Democratic Congress (NDC), is calling for thepostponement of the May 13 presidential election in what they describe as a record is incorrect.

petition sent to the Electoral Commission and the NDCElection on May 8, 2023 under the signature of Kofi Kukubor, head of research and strategy in the media group Dr. Duffuor, said that a thorough examination of the electoral records or photo albums for 220 Voters found manydiscrepancies that make the registration incomplete or incorrect. The media said that contesting the election with this kind of record undermines the trust and credibility of the election and could underminethe flag bearer, Dr Kwabena Duffuor, therefore demanding the following:

1. Postponing the May 13 presidential election. 2. Ameeting of stakeholders to establish an acceptable methodology that will ensurethe integrity of the voterregister. 3. Clean the register within the acceptable time frame to ensure free and fair elections. 4. To save the imagesof Tensions to have the appropriate voice as others may talk about the information about the information about something important. But in his speech on 'Ade Akye Abia' 'Okay FM', Mr. Asiedu Nketia explained that he does not understand why the Duffuor media group is trying to make things difficult for themselves.

They have been given the voter list and the photograph given to them is another document that the leaders of the party havedecided to give so that they have a fair idea of ??the voters. "There is nothing wrong, and no one is voting for anyone, the leaders of the party will hold a press conference and explain all the procedures for the election. Anyone with special needsshould strive to be there and remove all those barriers,” he said.

"However,
the party'spresidential and parliamentary elections will go ahead as planned," he added.
