The former president of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, said he has no problem with MPs fromthe northern region seeing him.
He says he doesn't like some of the party's representatives in parliament whom he describesas his younger brothers as people selling lies. The former president made this known when he was in the northern region as part of his media tour.
John Dramani Mahama said he considers the party'srepresentatives in parliament to be his younger brothers to whom he will hand over the party after his term ends. "And I know some people like the idea of a conspiracy...But this one doesn't like this and this is fighting." Trust me, I have no enemy in the northern region. They are all my younger brothers. It was started byHudu Yahaya and Co and is the next generation of Hudu and Co. I know that Haruna and the team will be with us. We will finish it and hand it over to them, they will lead us. So let'sall get together and forget about conspiracy theories and tape recording and insulting everyone. If you are a goodNDC member, what you are doing is destroying the party and not working together,” he said. The President assured members of the party that they will work together for the NDC to win the 2024 elections to put Ghana back on its path of development.
