Portugal striker Leao scored in Milan's Serie A win over Lazio on Saturday and is in the race against time to fight at the San Siro. The 23-year-old hasstarted each of Milan's 10 Champions League games and was crucial in their win over Napoli in the Round of 16.
Belgium international Alexis Saelemaekers replaced Leao as one of the three players playing behind lone striker Olivier Giroud, who is looking for his second Champions League titleafter winning the competitionwith Chelsea two years ago go. Milan have not reached the final of Europe's top club competition since 2007, when they won it for the seventh and last time.
