Next season, William Saliba may wear a different number for Arsenal as the club is confident in reaching a deal on a new contract for the defender.
If William Saliba signs a new deal with Arsenal, his future move has already been made known.
Supporters are waiting for an update on the France international, who will have just 12 months left on his current contract this summer after the club triggered an extension earlier in the year, while the Gunners are expected to extend the deals of Bukayo Saka and Aaron Ramsdale.
The good news is that according to football.london, there is optimism that a deal can be done with Saliba, which will also be welcome news for Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, who recently expressed his wish to retain onto the central defender.
