According to rumors, Hugo Lloris has been given the option of leaving Tottenham this summer in exchange for a sizable offer from Saudi Arabia.

Given his poor form and impending contract expiration, the French goalkeeper, who has played for the team for 11 seasons, has been linked to a move away from north London.

Lloris will likely find a new club with ease, according to rumours that he has already received an offer, while Spurs will need to find a replacement for their starting goalie.

The Times reports that a Saudi Pro League team has offered Lloris a contract that would increase his current Spurs salary, which is reported to be $100,000.

Several stars, including Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, have expressed interest in moving to Saudi Arabia.

Lloris, who has one year remaining on his contract, wouldn't be shocked to leave Tottenham.

To put it mildly, his form this season has been questionable, and the injury he recently suffered against Newcastle will not help him turn things around.

While Fraser Forster has performed admirably as Lloris' stand-in this season, Spurs will undoubtedly be looking for a replacement this summer.

Lloris joined the club in 2012 from the French team Lyon and has spent 11 seasons there. He has played 447 times for the north London club.

Despite his lack of domestic success during that period, France's 2018 World Cup victory allowed him to earn a medal as a winner.

Prior to his retirement from international football at the conclusion of the 2022 World Cup last year, the 36-year-old had long served as France's captain.

The goalkeeper participated in the whole final, which saw France lose to Argentina in a thrilling penalty shootout after a 3-3 tie after extra time.

In 2019, he assisted Tottenham, which he joined in 2012, in winning the Champions League. Lloris was a French international who competed at the under-18, under-19, and under-21 levels for his country. He participated in the under-19 team that won the 2005 UEFA European Under-19 Championship before transitioning to the senior level.
