Claims that the football star and Georgina Rodriguez are having relationship issues have been debunked by Cristiano Ronaldo's mother.
According to last month's Spanish and Portuguese media rumours, the striker was "fed up" with the Spanish model and influencer and that their relationship might be about to end.
Georgina, 29, refuted the idea in a social media post, writing: "The jealous one invents a rumour, the gossipy one spreads it, and the idiot believes it." Georgina and her girlfriend of seven years have been together.
Days later, Cristiano, 38, shared a loving photo of the lovely brunette when they were dining and drinking on Instagram with the caption, "Cheers to love."
Dolores Aveiro, 68, called the claims that the footballer and Georgina's relationship had fallen apart "lies" as she attended a store opening in her native Madeira.
She declared to the media present at the function she was invited to in Funchal, the island's capital: "It's all lies."
