Award-winning Ghanaian Afrobeats and highlife musician, Dennis Nana Dwamena, better known as KiDi, has disclosed that recent rumours about his health did not in any way have an impact on his religious life as he already has a solid relationship with God.
According to him, he has always been a prayerful person and has been closer to his creator. He noted that even though people proposed prayer camps options when they heard the rumours, it was not something that would have made him decide to draw closer to God as he has always been a son of God.
Ive always been closer to God; I have always been prayerful. Me and my God are one, so this is not something that will draw me close to him, he told Sika Osei on the Stripped show on Lynx TV.
The Mon Bebe crooner asserted that he knew God was always there for him and was not in any way going to fail him as he (God) has been there for him on countless occasions when he needed him most. According to him there has never been a situation where he has had a conflict between the relationship he has with God and his music.
It will be recalled that the lynx entertainment signee, about two months ago, had to postpone his Golden Boy North American tour due to ill health and therefore had to take a break from work as well as social media in order to heal himself.
Nevertheless, KiDis absence on social media brewed myriads of rumours about his whereabouts and the one rumour that stood out was the fact that he was down with a stroke which he has since come out to deny.
He continued: A stroke is a life ending illness, so imagine what my family went through in a time like this. Even my mom that I spoke to the morning of the rumor, she had to call me again, my family from abroad and from every corner of the world and everyone was concerned, KiDi stated.
