Luis Diaz's return to fitness means that five of Jurgen Klopp's six first-choice attackers are now available for selection.
Jordan Henderson, the team's captain, thinks Liverpool needs to make the most of their plethora of goal-scoring alternatives next season.
Manager Jurgen Klopp can now pick between five of his six first-choice forwards thanks to Luis Diaz's recent return to fitness (the injured Roberto Firmino is leaving).
Due to a turn around in their play, they have already won six straight games and are now in unlikely contention to finish in the top four, trailing Manchester United by just a point despite having played one more game.
If that group—Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez, Diogo Jota, Cody Gakpo, and Diaz—can stay healthy, Henderson anticipates that Liverpool will be significantly better the next year.
"Things evolve all the time, and we've had new players come into that forward line, and they are very exciting players," the midfielder said to Sky Sports.
There are many different tools at our disposal, as well as employees with a variety of skills.
"We need to take advantage of the fact that we have a number of high-caliber players who can play up front and all of them can score goals next season.
To be honest, our season has been a bit of a roller coaster. Most of it has undoubtedly been difficult to find consistency in.
"The good news is that we now look much more like ourselves. I believe that while we still have a long way to go in terms of improvement, the indicators are encouraging.
"Hopefully we can put a strong finish to these three games and carry that into next season."
Jordan Henderson feels upbeat about Liverpool's future potential.
“There are a lot of different things we can use and different personnel that can do different things really.
“We have a lot of quality players that can go up front and all of them can score goals, so we need to use that to our advantage next season.
