Security chief Duffuor again protested and demanded the expulsion of Bawah Mogtari from the NDC.
Director of Defense Department Dr. Kwabena Duffuor 2024, James Agbey, has struck for the second time in a week, this time calling on the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to expel Joyce Bawah Mogtari from the party.
In a statement made available to GhanaWeb, the NDC officialsaid that the Special AssistantJohn Mahama will be expelledfrom the party completely for his racial comments. JamesAgbey is reacting to the allegedstatement against Joyce Bawah Mogtari, in which he made negative comments about Ashantis, following the interlocutory injunction filed by Dr Kwabena Duffuor in the May 13, 2023 NDC, primaries.
James Agbey called thisstatement unacceptable. “During a Twitter frenzy last night, John Mahama'sspokesperson, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, concocted a viciousand racist statement that sought to defame the Ashantis and portray them as a threat to society. "In this context, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, the spokesperson ofJohn Mahama, said that; "He is still Ashantis!" Always causing problems with their free money.This winning method will notwork. John Mahama is the NDC and the NDC is John Mahama. “This is the most explosive tribal tirade of all time. Very dishonest, horrible, deceitfuland unacceptable, and I rejectthis clear slander of the Ashantis. Being angry at his situation makes me angry. What is also disturbing is hisassertion that John Mahama is the NDC and the NDC is John Mahama,” he wrote. Security chief Duffuor further called for the sacking of Joyce Bawah Mogtari, adding that her actions are damaging the future of the NDC. “I stand by this public statement calling on the NDC National Executive Committee to expel Joyce Bawah Mogtari from the party for defaming the party. “She is a woman with her husband, who are nutritionists. He also expressed his gratitude for the quick attention the fake tweet received, but he hoped that people would eventually "report fake tweets instead of sharing them on all platforms,knowing that they are lies, liesand misinformation." true".
